Biography
Fernanda Morales is admitted to practice law in Chile and in the State of California.
Fernanda focuses on multinational corporate clients with a broad range of contract and business issues, including regulatory compliance and FinTech. She works with early-stage companies and entrepreneurs as well. Her strong professional background and fluency in Spanish and English uniquely equip Ms. Morales to guide both new and established businesses from start-up to seed funding and beyond.
Before joining LLOY Law, Fernanda worked for 3 years as an Associate at Torretti & Cía., a leading Chilean tax & corporate law firm, where she provided corporate and tax advisory services for family offices, private equity firms and large corporate clients in diverse industries including technology, natural resources and finance. After that, Fernanda worked for 2 years as a Consultant at Deloitte, where she worked in the international tax area, conducting comprehensive research and analysis to discern the tax implications for clients across diverse industries and geographies, with a particular focus on the technology sector.
Fernanda earned her LL.B. law degree from Diego Portales University (Chile) and her LL.M. from UCLA School of Law where she specialized in Business and Tax Law.
