Biography
Karl Lindgren advises a wide array of clients on investment regulatory and financial matters, including early-stage tech companies, private investment funds and novel investment platforms, with a particular emphasis on companies in the crypto-asset space. His practice aims to assist clients in designing bespoke solutions on a variety of transactions and different businesses models, ranging from hedge funds and secured lending to financial and investment technology platform design. Karl has experience in debt and equity transactions, as well as related regulatory issues such as regulation of securities offerings, investment advisers, formation of private investment funds, broker-dealer concerns, commodity derivatives regulation and general corporate matters.
Before joining LLOY Law, Karl practiced in the Washington, D.C. office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich and Rosati PC where he worked in a securities regulatory practice that specialized in blockchain-based investments and technology and at Rutan & Tucker LLP where his practice focused on real estate and other asset-based debt finance by banks and private lenders, as well as national real estate acquisition and leasing.
